The Tennessee men's tennis team is well represented in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) 2019 Division I Men's Preseason National Rankings.
The organization released their annual rankings on Tuesday.
Junior Adam Walton landed at the No. 17 spot in the singles rankings, while coming in at No. 32 nationally. The Australian native finished 25-6 overall in singles last season and was 6-1 against ranked opponents.
In his first two seasons with Tennessee, Walton has tallied 50 match wins, as well as a 20-win total in dual matches in the spring 2019 season.
At the M15 Champaign Futures earlier this month, Walton finished 7-1.
As for Scott Jones, the fellow Aussie came in at No. 106 nationally after posting a 27-12 overall record during the 2018-19 season.
In the past two seasons, Jones has been named to the All-SEC Second Team and is 72-36 in his UT career.
Heading into the 2019 fall season, Jones needs just 11 more wins to make the top 20 in program history in all-time wins, which is currently occupied by former Vol Rhyne Williams, who has 83 career wins.
