Tennessee has landed its third new commitment of the early signing period as Alabama defensive tackle Reginald Perry picked Tennessee over Kentucky, UAB and Georgia Tech this morning.

Perry, a 6-foot-6, 301-pound defensive tackle, holds an athletic frame and while Perry isn’t projected to be an instant impact recruit, his ceiling is high with a few years in a college weight room.

The Fairfield, Alabama native is the 729thranked player in the 2020 signing class and 60thranked defensive tackle according to the 247sports composite.

Perry came onto Tennessee’s board relatively late in the 2020 cycle, but the Vols were able to get the defensive lineman on campus for an official visit on November 30thas Tennessee gained late momentum in Perry’s recruitment and held on to the 3-star recruit.

Stay tuned all day as we take a look at Tennessee’s 2020 signing class.
