The Tennessee football team is nearly three months away from kicking off year two of the Jeremy Pruitt era.
On Thursday, the Vols officially announced the start times for the first three contests of the 2019 season. All three games will take place at Neyland Stadium.
The Vols will open up the season on Aug. 31 versus the Georgia State Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
The following week, Sept. 7, Tennessee will play their marquee out-of-conference game against BYU in the first of a home-and-home series in primetime on ESPN with the game kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
The game will also mark the first time either program has faced each other on the gridiron.
On Sept. 14, the Vols will play their one FCS opponent, the Chattanooga Mocs, at noon on the SEC Network, one week before opening their SEC slate on the road at Florida.
The kickoff times for the rest of Tennessee’s schedule has yet to be announced, although CBS announced their time slots for the 2019 season that should include games involving the Vols on Wednesday.
