Tennessee redshirt-sophomore wide receiver Maleik Gray has found a transfer destination.

On Sunday, Gray, a Lavergne, Tenn. native, announced that he will play the 2019 season at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Miss.

Gray spent the last two seasons as a wide receiver for the Vols, joining Butch Jones’ team as part of the 2017 recruiting class as a four-star prospectand top-100 reciever accoridng to 247Sports.

As a freshman in 2017, Gray appeared in two games, making his debut in a win over Indiana State and seeing the field again in a loss at Kentucky.

Last season, Gray played in one game versus Charlotte and redshirted for the season.

He recorded no receptions during his Tennessee career.

Gray now joins Eli Wolf (Georgia), Drew Richmond (USC) and Austin Smith (Eastern Kentucky) who have transferred from the Tennessee program this past offseason.
